People who buy Communist Chinese products at Walmart's front operation are putting their neighbors out of their jobs. If you support communism, shop walmart, sears, kmart, and do not shop for non-communist products.

Don't just thank Obama. Thank Merkel, Cameron, Holande and all the rest
of 'em, 'cos this is happening all over the Western world. Anyone would
think collapse is being orchestrated in some way...

Of course it is. They saw it taking a turn years even decades ago,
and they set it up so the middle class would vanish (and pay for their
bullshit menagerie)and it now takes multiple incomes to support even a
meager household. It really is pathetic.

Well, then the trek that you face is the longest.
My main question is about PC USB-based oscilloscopes. The rest of this is
specific to my problem(s) and may be overlooked.
I'm using cordless drills to power electric bicycles. I have one built. It
works but is underpowered. I am building a better one using a DeWalt
DCD995. Some nice electronics included in that drill, a stout (very tight
turning) brushless motor with a controller.
It has a few inputs from the speed switch and clutch.
It has 5 data/signal outputs from the controller to the motor. One wire is
purple, the other four wires are black.

It also has three heavy-duty wires going to the motor. I've been told that
the drill uses AC, so maybe that's what the extra power wire is for, I
dunno.
I desperately need to disable some of the motor's functions, so I need to
know what the various wires do. Since it's probably a DeWalt specific
motor, looking for data would be a waste of time?
The three heavy-duty wires... Do you guess they control any of the
functions or are they simply for supplying power?
Thanks.

I love to cook with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.
I'm replacing a couple of capacitors in speaker crossover.
The parts have a glue that holds them tight to the PCB, the glue is
still a little bit rubbery after 33 years. (Pioneer HPM-700)
What can I use that will do the same job, without solvent damage
to the electronic parts?
A 10 minute search and a phone call to the wife, I just had to dig
deeper into where I thought the hot glue was.

That is the claim that news sources for ijit make.
In a tech area, you need to give technical details for any cred.
I would call something that counts down a timer and not a clock.
My alarm clock "counts down" to alarm time.

So you are saying you have a digital alarm clock you can set for say
10 min and watch the digital display count down 10.9.8.7?
Please post the model number.
I understand that a snooze is an internal timer. This article claims
that the digital display was counting down.
Ahmed finally got his clock back. I would love to see a demonstration

Q2: How does the device "know" to give tablets 2.4 Amps
(12 Watts) but a "mobile device" only 1Amp (5 Watts).
Q3: What if a mobile device "wants" more than 1 amp?
Does the charger give more than 1A to the device?
