Enter "molding wine glass" into your favorite search engine. Here's an

example:

Here's a link to one of the hits:

That really wasn't too difficult.

Pretty easy once you know what to search for.

Since you're pretty knowledgeable, what do you call those vertical end panels in a shelving unit that have 3/16 holes every inch to set the shelf height? I expect those should be available for built in cabinets.

Since this is a USA-ovvned forum, vvhat vvould you suggest visitors and tourists to the USA do? Do a firearms course and buy/hire a gun or assault-rifle before or as soon as they land State-side, before they start their sightseeing or business trip? I guess having a gun vvould help during business negotiations.

From reĐ°ding comments here, I guess that most people here vvould be happy if all US citizens vvere armed from the time they are able to stand, and hold and point a gun or assault-rifle.

I can just imagine covert cargo flotillas from non-EU countries steaming in stealth into the night to deliver electrical salvation to EU citizenry in the form of over-povvered vacuum cleaners and incandescent light bulbs, and vvhatever else the Brusselcrats think to ban in the future. A black market vvill flourish, families vvill be torn asunder as parents are jailed for having a forbidden appliance, and the children left destitute. Fortunes vvill be made, oligarchs vvill arise to keep the illicit trade flourishing... The hairdryer is next!!!

Don't fly into Miami. The thugs hang out at the car rental counters
and target people with poor English... primarily Germans. (I am not
pulling your leg... my youngest son worked the Alamo counter while in
college.)

Used to be that way. Every farmer's child could handle a rifle. And
shootings were far rarer than today.

You segwayed(sp?) there, started talking about shooting, now talking about
'crime' I know shooting is a crime and often a shooting occurs during the
commission of a crime, but I thought you were first talking about
senseless shootings, or violent reactions like road rage resulting in
shootings. Not, a case of "you have I don't, so I have the right to take
what you have" attitude resulting in crime.

Injustice BREEDS violence. People when subjected to injustice become
violent. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that the increase in
shooting incidences you are pointing out is the result of either injustice
increasing, or these people are awakening to the injustice prevalent
around them.

Is that 'per capita' increase, or simply an increase in the number of
shootings?

I think our education system went sour when it stopped being an education
system and became more a form of 'day care center' I remember thinking
"why am I being forced to be someplace [a prison] when I've done nothing
wrong?" Even more stupid, you had to attend, or face expulsion. Say what?!

"injustice" is an excuse. Everyone seems to have an excuse today for
their anti-social behavior.

I'm always amused by how many "victims" of a police shooting always
end up being described as "a nice boy".

An example of injustice was Trayvon Martin's record of misbehavior
ruled as inadmissible evidence at Zimmerman's trial.

granted, one should take responsibility for one's own actions. But what I
talked about is a cause and effect that usually goes unnoticed by the
violent one, actually not even realizing.

True, the court system and their rules boggle the mind. My lawyer used to

It sounds like a difficult part to realize -- perhaps that's why?

I know, from re-working Moto/ON-Semi logic to fit a new foundry process,
that kind of tri-state is possible.

Possible, yes, but easy?

In the chip world? Trivial. Discrete world, too many components.
Though an open drain high-side driver that could do a full tri-state
disconnect from rail would have worked. I suspect there's one out
there, I'm just not calling it by its right name.

Speeds, currents, type of load? Does it just need to source current, or
does it need to sink it, too?

Source only... ~100mA.

If your current and speed needs were modest, and an on-off source would
work, then a depletion-mode N-channel FET would do, but you'd need to
find one.

Alternatively I could use a discrete P-channel capable of 10A+ with
VGS=4V

...Jim Thompson

I thought of that. But that only works if your output rail isn't going
to float much above the input, or if you somehow pull the gate up to the
highest of either the output or the input rail. And then it'll want to
be slow.

I don't pay much attention to Vgs on FETs, except to know that if it's a
12V-rated part, the Vgs is way lower. Is your 4V realistic?

Stuck with it. You know the drill, someone f...ed it up and I get
called it to patch it, without changing anything ;-)

That's what made me think of depletion-mode N-fet: the higher the source
gets, the more "off" the thing turns. But your P-channel is probably
easier to find.

Yep. CSD25401Q3
