I've a DVD player that goes tits up. The drawer doesn't open/close anymore.
It's apparently driven by a CMD5954 driver, but I can't find more infos than
a very general summary at the www.ceramate.com.tw site.

Does someone have a datasheet, a piece of schematics or a link ?

answering myself :

Found at http://www.rohm.com/products/databook/optdisc/pdf/ba5954fp.pdf what
should be an equiv.

Thanks myself :)

The only thing missing, however, is that you did not write yourself an
insult or wise-a** response like a real newsgroup reply would have been
like... :p

And the funny thing is that, after having found the information about the
CMD5954, I tried to find the motor connections to the circuit and they
finally don't connect to this circuit but a mysterious SO8 6287, without any
letter, logo or such.
No ordinary opamp or whatever known pinout either...

Back to square one.
