It\'s a silly thought for a state to think it has more influence on the election under a popular vote. Right now all the power is in a handful of states. Small and large states alike have little influence in the election because they have a sizable majority of votes on one side. This completely disenfranchises those supporting the minority in that state REGARDLESS of size.

The majority of citizens in this country feel this is wrong and the electoral college should be abolished in favor of a popular vote. Yes, it\'s a long row to hoe to get agreement on how to do this, but we need to clean out the swamp to get it started and that is what this election will be doing starting with the biggest and fattest swamp dweller of all.
