Friend of mine has the ins there. Downtown you could walk the whole place but now most of it is closed to the public, and I do not mean because of the virus, they were that way for years. They are very unlike what they used to be.
Their \"showroom\" sucks. It used to be interesting to go there when they were downtown. My Uncle who was an IBM tech specialist went there every weekend. I started going with him, or the olman who was interested enough to go. We called it electronic shithouse.
If you know about them then you know about HGR. Someone is buying their electronics so fast they are short. We used to buy old scopes off them but now they have few and those tend to be pricier. Someone is intercepting the good deals now. My fried also has the in there, but we got... lemme think here, I am not sure but at least ten scopes between us. I mean working, we got more if you count the ones not yet fixed.
Now ESI is not worth the drive, and HGR may be catching up. They got some really cool shit but less electronics these days. But for example if you wanted a dialysis machine they had three of them last time I was there.
