After I found the mythical LM321 Precision Preamplifier in the National Semi
book, I was browsing through a 1992 TI analog book and came across the TL010
Adjustable Current mirror. Another very interesting part, I thought. TI
disclaims any knowledge of it on their website today.
Was it ever manufactured or was the data sheet a trial balloon to see if
they'd get any orders for it?
Are there any other manufacturers who make (fixed or adjustable) 3- or
4-terminal current mirror ICs? Yes, I'm fully aware that it's trivial with
a dual transistor (or two discretes or two transistors in an IC array), but
this one -- and the fixed ratio counterparts TL011, TL012, TL014, and
TL021 -- has well matched transistors with obvious good thermal tracking.
