Hello,
I am hoping one of you electronics gurus could help me out...
The other night I was watching my Zenith 27" TV (SL2773W), when it
started flashing green. The picture disapeared for a moment and then
reappeared, but now everything looks darker, mor of a purple-red tint.
Images that used to come in yellow now come in magenta. Overall,
everything seems to have a reddish tint now.
I looked out on usenet for a thread related to this problem. Here's
what I found:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&threadm=ps%25e7.109646%24EP6.29001100%40news1.rdc2.pa.home.com&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fq%3DSL2773W%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26hl%3Den%26btnG%3DGoogle%2BSearch
I tried going into the menu like someone suggested. What I saw was
that the blue letters look perfect, the green letters look perfect,
but that the red letters, though visibly red, were somewhat blurred.
So what could this mean potentially? Is the TV dead or is this
something I can get repaired relatively inexpensively?
Thanks for your help,
Leo Hart
