Zener diode

I have a defective zener diode in the electric power steering of my
car. The lettering says MZ 07. It is a tiny part, 2-3 mm or about 1/16
of an inch. I looked everywhere and talked to many electronic stores,
but can't find it, nor the specifications. Can anybody help?

7 volts? Seems possible given the 12V range of a car supply. Have a look
at the rest of the circuit and see if it makes sense to regulate to 7V at
that point.
