yet another layout editor

Hi
For quite some time I'm working on a new IC layout editor. I've started
this as a home project and it looks now that some help and support can
be quite handy.

Here are some details about the project:
Written in C++, using wxWidgets and openGL.
Developed on Linux, compiles for RedHat, Fedora core, SuSE, 32 and 64 bit
platforms.
Editor is using its own (simple enough) scripting language and layout format.
Undo with unlimited depth, session logs, GDS import, etc.
The main focus was on the speed and flexibility
Some basic logical operations (cut, merge) already implemented.
Some documentation is available as well
There is much more to say - let's stop here, but I will be quite happy
to answer further questions.
If somebody is really interested, e-mail me directly. Project is in
early alpha stage, but stable enough for testing. It is not publicly
hosted yet, so any ideas and suggestions will be appreciated.

What is your price target?
What similar tools have you used before starting this?
How will yours differ?
..
..
BTW, if you get yourself a real newsreader

or at least post thru the Usenet Archive
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/sci.electronics.cad
you won't get an unprofessional-looking ad

What is your price target?
The main idea is to target small or middle fabless design companies,
giving them the possibility to switch quickly between fabs and
processes. Actually I'm still wondering about the license, but if it is
not entirely public, maybe up to $2K. It's just an editor for the
moment.

What similar tools have you used before starting this?
ICed, LayED, Tanner, limited Virtuoso experience

How will yours differ?
scripting/programming of the operations, potential for layout
generation, transfering of standard libraries/blocks to a new
technology
or fab with a minimal impact, speed, more flexibility, complete undo,
openGL graphics, PS output for quality prints ...
.
.
