xsistor corss reference?

i am having a hard time finding a replacement part# for the xsistor
q501(atleast i think its q501, but that loc# is actually printed inside out
on the PCB) the x-q501 is labeled
554
-3
m 703
can anybody tell me what a cross reference would be for this part
