Gday all!!

just got out the old fairy lights from last season and i cant find the p/s
for one of the the lights! I got 2 of the same lights, however i can not
find the power sup for one of them.
One the other, the p/s has writen on it output: 10v ~ Max 36VA
anyone got a clue what that means? I was thinking of going to dick smiths
and getting one but i obviously need to know the output in both amps and
volts (and watts??????)

so is the output 10v or 36volts? is it AC or DC? does it mean 10v max output
or 10-36v output?

please help! thankyou! :s

10v~ would be 10 VAC

36 VA would be approximately 36 Watt at 10vac (for resistive load such
a bulbs)

this means 10vac at 3.6 Amp.

Any isolation transformer that puts out more than 3.6A is fine to use.
Unless you use one of those multi-tap transformers - you wont find it
easy getting 10vac primary
