Xilinx 6.1i on Redhat Enterprise or Fedora

Hi,

anyone know if Xilinx 6.1i runs on Redhat Enterprise Linux or Fedora?

I see this note on the Xilinx web site:

RedHat 7.3 and 8.0 are supported for the 6.1i Release.

RedHat 9.0 supports the Linux environment variable "LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1"
which allows version 9.0 to run applications that are compatible with previous
versions of RedHat. This environment variable will allow ISE 6.1i to run, but
it is not supported or tested by Xilinx.
