how to perform xf analysis on a fully differential opamp circuit to
calculate its CMRR.
Also i am getting the following error
'syntax error in specification of 'xf' ' ..while trying to perform xf
analysis . where could be the syntax error?

-tarun

serror message is the same as i psoted earlier ...
'syntax error in specification of 'xf' '..
thanx for the earlier reply. wat abt this ?

Where Vic is the common mode voltage.
This is as far as I can see the current out of the Vic. I think you want
the voltage /Vic_PLUS, or am I mixing something here?

Then open the input.scs file in the netlist directory and find the line
where the xf simulation gets defined, and then post that line here. It
is quite impossible to have any opinion on error messages that complain
about syntax when the original syntax is not known.

Kind regards,

My wild guess is that you're using an older version (before IC5032) which
didn't support specifying the output for xf somewhere other than in the top
level of hierarchy (spectre didn't support hierarchical references in this
manner).

However, without knowing:

a. What the xf line in the input.scs looks like
b. What version you're using

it's impossible to tell, as Svenn quite rightly said.

If you just keep posting exactly the same information over and over again,
that does not answer our questions!

Regards,

Andrew.

CMRR
db20(1/DATA("/Vic/PLUS" "xf-xf"))

Where Vic is the common mode voltage.

Please post the exact xf error message.

exact error is the same as written earlier ..
'syntax error in specification of 'xf' '
wat does this mean ? do i have to use ny particular options ?
thanx for the earlier mail
