X failure

This is the 3rd time within one month I got this error

This occurs in vxl when changing from one level to another one.
Say,
1) start path in metal2
2) chnage level to metal1
3) zoom to place the contact
After that I get a crash with the one of the above messages

Anyone seen this?

I'm using icfb5.0.33.500.1.11 runing on a machine running rhel3
(2.4.21-9.0.1.ELsmp / kde3.2)
