www.numberone.com still alive?

Am I the only one who can't get to the http://www.numberone.com
website?

(They're the providers of the Easy-PC pcb-layout (et al) EDA software.
I'm in need of an upgrade from the 1000-pin version. And I've also
recently seen, on http://www.adeptscience.com , that they now have a
new version of Easy-PC available, v9.)

Works for me...

If you're on the west coast of the U.S., Technology Sales is the "local" rep
(http://www.pcb-sw.com/); they'll be happy to, uhh... take your money, send an
e-mail over to England to get your license, and then, uhh... send it back to
you. (There doesn't exactly seemto be a lot of "value added services" in that
process, but for whatever reason that's how Pulsonix/EasyPC does it, and the
folks at Technology Sales are certainly friendly enough.)

I didn't have any problems getting into the web site.

Perhaps they provide a bit of local support too?
The people at Technology Sales themselves don't support _Pulsonix_ through
their main office in Utah, but they can and do refer you to qualified people
who will do so. So as with providing licenses, they do perform a service,
although it's not completely clear why something as straightforward as a
referral couldn't be done directly from the Pulsonix home office back in
England -- other than the time zone difference for calling, perhaps.

Possibly the situation is different with Easy PC in that they field calls
directly?

But in any case, Number One have always been crap at marketing, despite the
software being in many ways extremely good. Version 9 has been out since
last August at least, and they are now up to 9.0.5- updates are quite
frequent and often include improvements and even new features as well as bug
fixes.
Yes, all good points.

OK. I'm in. The problem was in my browser's security settings.
Thanks, everyone.

By the way, there are also Easy-PC dealers for the USA's Midwest and
East, at:

http://www.ohioautomation.com (Midwest USA; OH)

and

http://www.adeptscience.com (Eastern USA, NJ)

Other areas' dealers can be found in the "Sales Contacts" link, on the
www.numberone.com site.
