Looking for info or schematics on a "Lamp Failure" circuit out of the tail
end of a '93 Toyota Camry. usually located on the drivers side in the boot
neat the ariel....
If anyone has one of these for sale let me know....
It is a small red box with a chunky connector phug with about 15 wires....
the circuit board inside has a few resistors, a basic IC, a few diodes and
caps.
I blew what seemed to be a jomper wire on the component side of the board...
Have replaced this and checked all components... My tail lamps work fine now
just that the "Lamp Failure" indicator on the dash is on when I have the
tail lights on.
Funny thing is - is when I have a trailor plugged and the tail lights on the
failure light goes out.
All tail lights on the car work fine with or without the trailor, and
lights on the trailer work fine...
Does this little box work of resistence in the circuit or something?
