Hi,

I'm on the search for a datasheet for the above IC. It's made by Phillips
and I think it was produced from 1990 onwards and discontinued in 2000 or
thereabouts.

It's an 8 pin DIL (surface mount in this case OM1058T) package and is part
of a car central locking remote control "plip" made by Valeo for Peugeot
(and Citroen and Renault as well). It is compatible with the TEA5500 series
chip which is a central locking decoder/encoder for IR or RF "plips".

Reason I am after one is to try and reprogram the "plip" code to match my
car - I am guessing it is some form of PIC or EEPROM that is programmed with
the corresponding TEA5500 compatible code.

Any help or a datasheet would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Andy Kirkland

Anyone got any info?

Maybe someone in the UK got an old RS CDROM with the datasheets on?

Cheers,

Andy

hi andy
cant find a data sheet either but alarmremotes.co.uk claim to be able to
copy them - don't know if thats any help. my problem is a
component(resistor/capacitor?) is missing from the pcb - any chance you
can help me find out what it should be. assuming we've got the same type
(pcb is valeo 52028a) it is just above the switch, adjacent to the emitter
LED. thanks in advance meanwhile i'll keep searching for a datasheet.
cheers
