He wishes to steal Optus pay tv, if you sell to him you're selling
stolen property and will also be an accessory to his crime, you're
going to do more time then he will.

I"M yet to query the squid proxy, but he's posting from Latrobe
university. I"M going to have an ID fix on him by the end of the
night.

YOu're going away for a very long time "luke"

conspiracy to commit a crime.

He could simply want a 2nd Optus decoder box without paying $$$$ while on a
12mth contract. I know I'd sure as hell avoid a contract where possible.

Yes I'd like to know that too. Here is my scenario.

MIke who has trouble with the caps key was sitting in front of his stooped
up p233 with 128 meg of ram, with this, he manages to convince his computer
illiterate friends that he is a master hacker, but not the bad kind. He is a
White hat hacker that patrols the newsgroups looking for villains that need
to be brought to justice. His skill is know only to a select few that know
he works for ASIO, FBI, CIA and NASA. In amazement they watch as he does a
whois followed by a meticulous lookup and tracks down the notorious Luke, a
pay TV thief by night and a innocent arts student by day.

I thank god for people like MIke because it makes me feel a whole lot better
about myself.

And you've obviously never heard of entrapment.

Thanks

I'm not sure on the specifics on these, but there are some
that are in use, they have been disabled so there are no "locked
channels" these have been "given" to the higher up people in Optus
administration, also they were available to the testers of the cable
after it was manufactured and was used in the inspection process.

Boxes being Illegal to sell? not entirly.

Deformation of character? Is that what happens when you a apply a baseball

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would have thought that, if Optus's
terms and conditions are anything like Austar's, then an Optus cable
decoder box remains the property of Optus. Of course there should be
nothing to stop you purchasing or selling a third party decoder box
that could potentially be used to receive Optus transmissions, but I
suspect that was not what the OP was asking for.

Obvious lie.

The Optarse T&Cs are only a small part of what matters, stupid.
