Working with Stepper motor

HI Guys,
I got a stepper motor model KP35FM2-035 which consist of four wires. I
don't know how to get it to work. Counld any one kindly let me know
which wire is for input supply and so on. The colors of the wires are
as follows....Blue, white , yellow and red. Also If anyone know more of
controling of stepper motors please give me some tip for build a small
mobile car. Thank you.

Model numbers don't help without manufacturers. Knowing the
manufacturer you should be able to find the data with some digging on
the web.

With four wires its a bipolar stepper, meaning that you have two coils
in quadrature, and you need to drive each coil in both a positive and a
negative direction. The coils will be isolated from each other, so you
can ohm the motor out to figure out which coils go where.

You can buy stepper controllers, just make sure you get one that'll
drive a bipolar motor.

In general, you drive a stepper by energizing one coil, then the other,
then the first in reverse, then the other in reverse, like this:

coil 1 drive: + 0 - 0 + 0 - 0 + 0 - 0
coil 2 drive: 0 + 0 - 0 + 0 - 0 + 0 -

Steppers tend to be very large for the amount of power they supply.
They're good if you want an easy way to control an axis with moderate
precision, but otherwise they aren't much to write home about (they're
not my favorite thing). To run a car I think you're much better off
with a regular DC motor, unless you want a wheel-steered robot, and you
don't mind it being wimpy.
