AC mains motor rated 550W 220Vac 50Hz. Will it survive on 240Vac 50Hz?
 
It will be ok, but will have a higher RPM.

Unless the OP meant to say 60hz, the speed will be the same. Speed would be
determined by the line frequency.

If it is an induction motor, the speed will be virtually the same (a fraction
of a percent difference under load maybe). Should be fine. May even run
cooler. Speed of an induction motor is mostly determined by line frequency.

In any case, check for excessive heating. If it doesn't get too hot,
should be no problem.
