If you mean "does 100Hz imply the set is HD", the answer is no. My Loewe
Xelos has a 100Hz scan rate but is only an SD set.

AS I said in my post above, 100Hz does not mean it is HD. There are SD

sets that scan at 100Hz.

Look at the set's resolution, it's the only way to tell, see here for an

Just means it could be a big TV (e.g. 33" or bigger).

you would not need 100Hz on a small 14", LOL

maybe I should of said before, all the 100Hz does is cover in the gap
between the lines that you would see on a 50Hz 33" TV,

That's why I made a joke about the 14" TV.
