Hello all:

Why should I design a PCB for a low speed embedded system using more than
two layers, ei four layers.

There are reasons for design a four layer PCB in a low speed embedded
systems?

Thanks.

Low level signals that need a quiet ground.

Can't route it with only two layers.

Need to reduce EMI.

Remember Doc Brown from the _Back to the Future_ movies? Do you
have an "impossible" engineering project that only someone like
Doc Brown can solve? My resume is at http://www.guymacon.com/

High density surface mount means you often run out of space if you only have 2
layers. If you keep to dips and spread them out you can often get away with 1
layer.
