Can career politicians do anything right?

A series of terrible decisions has led him to undermine Russia’s international position and economic prospects, shatter the reputation of the Russian Federation as a serious military power, and fail in the most important gamble of his career.

Putin the Poor is not very bright. Xi and Modi want him to end the war quickly (negotiation and/or withdrawal). Putin either did not get the message or he is just saying to hell with them.

Apparently the power structure there is so diffuse it\'s impossible to get rid of him constitutionally. A popular uprising is what it will take.

He\'s just a moron too dumb to know when he needs to fold. All he\'s succeeded in doing is bankrupting their economy, permanently losing market share of their energy export, and inciting the establishment of western aligned military powerhouse on their southern border. His situation couldn\'t be worse, and since his whole government, and military especially, are just a bunch incompetent hacks, it will never get turned around.
Maybe he caught COVID and has brain damage- who knows.

To damage a brain first of all he has to have a brain.

I wonder what factors are energy manipulations. By pushing oil/gas to $120/$400 level, global recession and demand destruction are now in-place. We are heading to $60 oil soon, which would drive more energy BK and choke off supplies, before the next $150 oil run.
