Who is the moderator of this group? And what are his intentions/preferences?

Some of the messages I post make it to the board, some - not. Last night I
posted 3 - one only appeared. Postings that come through always appear with
several hours delay while on other groups they appear almost instantly.

For all I know it should be un-moderated group, and it does not appear to be
true.

Andrey

PS: as prove to my suspicions I expect this message will never make it

Well just to prove to you that there *isn't* a moderator....

Oi, moderator, you're a fuckin' wanker.

I bet this post still gets through.

Therefore I suspect you have a problem with your news feed service.

There's no moderator. When, or if, a news post appears is totally
unpredictable. When you post it to your server, it still has to propagate
to all the other servers in the world, and that will take a
non-deterministic route. They very seldom get totally dropped. Keep
checking back, and your posts will probably appear.

Or, it could be a conspiracy.

Or God. ;-)

Cheers!

Of course you know that now that you've revealed my secret, you will have
to be killed.

Well, at least you didn't tell them that I'm actually using the ASCII
characters < 0 for my superhetrodynesecret intraconspiratical
communications.

Oh, crap! Now I have to kill myself!

There is no moderator. I expect, as other have suggested, that there is
a problem with your news server. if that is the problem try
news.individual, it's free and very good for text newsgroups.

We have a moderator, but he has trouble hitting the 'post' or 'delete'

The Rich Grise *I* know would only kill himself through a combination
of alcohol and sexual exhaustion. and he would spend years doing it.

I am. I am also Leader of the Anarchists and the World's Greatest
Solipsist. And modest with it.

Principles of moderation:

(1) Posts droning on about boring things like electronics will be blocked.

(2) Posts without a specified minimum level of personal abuse will not
appear.

(3) The language of this group is either Merkin or Incoherent (or both).

(4) Yes you did

(5) No I didn't

(6) Republicratic shitb*g.

(7) Etc ad nauseam.

s/straight/strait/;

He meant as distinct from a metrosexual jacket. You know, the kind
engineers wear, superannuated tweed with leather patches on thge elbows.
I bet they are Real Ale fans and Morris dancers in their spare time.
