Is there a white led that emits down to 400 nm ? The one's I see have
a peak in the blue near 450 nm with a sharp fall off down to 420 or
430 nm. I'd like to use one for absorption spectroscopy to to 400 nm.

You would probably be better off with a matched RGB array of LEDs for any
kind of accuracy. White LEDs produce a very odd and uneven emission spectrum.
