I am currently replacing a faulty vertical deflector in my Samsung
CX7230W and while I have it open and taken apart anyway I'd like to
know if someone can give me a tip on what can cause the following:
Anytime when there are white (or very bright) parts on the screen this
white 'echoes' horizontally. For instance when watching a movie with
white subtitles, behind the white letters there will be a faint white
bar stretching the full width of the screen. Also the screen will warp
a tiny bit around this bar. It is as if any concentrated white
'smears' across the full width.
Does anyone know what causes this?
Thanks in advance!
