Where to find RJ22 handset receptacles?

I need a source for the JACK (not the plug) for a telephone handset,
known as an RJ22, sometimes as an RJ10. I can find the plug almost
anywhere, but not the jack (receptacle). I've tried Jameco, Digikey, a
local Atlanta supplier called Ack Supply, and done a million searches
on the internet....Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

You're speaking about mini-modular jacks (and plugs). The RJxx numbers have
to do with the pins identities and functions defined by ANSI for use in a
telco environment. Well, you *are* talking about a telco environment but I
nevertheless don't understand what jacks you need. The handsets I'm aware
off use 4p4c modular plugs and jacks. 4p4c meaning four (pin)positions, four
connections. I have the jacks from my local electronic store (DIL in
Rotterdam). Farnell has several tastes p.e. Molex 95001-2441 order code
473-273 (thru hole pcb), Molex 85502-0005 order code 385-6203 (SMT). Look at
their site for more. You will also find the well known 8p8c parts, most of
the times misnamed "RJ45".

Try Mouser, they're good for that sort of thing. As the other poster
suggests look for "modular jack", not the RJ number. Everyone and their
brother refers to the physical thing as an "RJxx", but the catalog won't.
