Where to buy, online, particular size isolated wire.

I need to make a modification to some digital wristwatch modules, so as you
know the wire has to be very thin. I don't know anything about the specs of
wire sizes so I don't know what size I'm looking for but if anyone can direct
me in the right path to a place online that simply sells very thin, isolated,
wire; I'd appreciate it. Most responses I get from friends are "any DIY
electronics shop will carry it" but I don't know where they are.

They are in the Yellow Pages. But they probably won't have wire that thin.
