I recently posted a problem about a Sharp CX51K4 ctv.
I bought a copy of the schematic and other pages
of the manual.
The manual tells me to short-circuit JA122 and JA124
to put the ctv into service mode.
I cannot find JA122 and JA124.
I was thinking I would start by changing the "Vertical Amp" setting.
Can anyone please assist?
***************************
The service mode instructions also say "Use JWS key to set as well".
I do not know what this means, can anyone please assist?

In the original post, I said I could not tune the tv.
I suspected the tv might be in motel mode.
I was right about this, the manual told me how to take
it out of motel motel and I can now tune it.
But the other problems still exist.
These problems are listed below.
*******************************
The owner said one of their children was playing with
the remote before the ctv lost the tuned in
tv stations and other faults showed.
Picture in AV mode appears too big for the screen (vertically).
When I change volume, the word "volume" shows at the very bottom
of the screen, but the bargraph below it is off the screen.
CTV randomly goes to standby for around one second.
CTV may switch off with power light flashing red, remote will
not turn it back on untill main switch is turned off/on.
I have also seen the power light green, but the screen is black,
not even the on screen display, and remote will not turn the set
on or off. No voltages are found on the secondary of the LOPT, and
the tube is not lit.
I have tested the caps with the ESR meter, they all seem o.k.
The jungle chip is a TDA9381PS.
Thanks,
Russell Griffiths.
