Where is a 12 VDC motion detector ?

For system with :
12 VDC supply (car battery)
IR motion detector
relay
car alarm

 

Most home security systems are 12vdc...and the alarm panels have 12v
lead-acid batteries for back-up power, making them quite compatible
with 12 volt car systems...
( The sirens are 12v also....)

Why IR? Ususally, car alarms use microwave detection. You might be

able to re-work a sensor for a home alarm though.
