Over a decade ago you could post to sci.electronics.basics and never
get any moronic responses like "patents are a waste of money" or
"circular furrows are impossible" or "I made $200 million but I cannot
afford to waste money prosecuting patents."
It's all very flattering but this nonsense started with the recession,
