What's a ULN2231?

I ahve a bunch of ULN2231 DIP ic's which I think are crossed to Delco DM50
but can't seem to find information or data sheets on.

Can anyone help with info?

According to Mouser, the replacement is NTE983. Data sheet here...Paul
