What watt Step Down Transformer should I get - Italy, Shaver

I will be spending a month in Italy this summer and need to know what
watt "Step Down Transformer" I should get. I will need to run a
shaver, blow drier, laptop, (one at a time). I don't want to get to
little or to much. I have included the site that I'm shopping at
below. Your help will be much appreciated!!

Look at the current ratings on each of your devices, and buy accordingly.
Your shaver won't use much power, your laptop may take 220 already (check,
it'll say on the power supply brick), and it'll probably be less expensive
to buy a blow-dryer when you get there rather than getting the necessary
hunk of iron and carrying it around with you.

Here in Italy we have 230V/50Hz mains supply. I would recommend to carry
just a small 20W or so transformer for the shaver and buy a hairdryer here
for 15bucks, will be cheaper than a 1000W transformer apart from the weight.
The computer usually comes with an universal power supply working in Europe
as well.
We have now a lot of WLan in waiting rooms, airport lounges etc. so that is
a useful gadget to have. Our phone sockets are somehow different, but you
could unplug the RG11 plug from the set and insert into your computer.

In Summer it is warm here, do not carry too much, you will find really cute
wear here, which in US you can only dream of(Armani). Hope your budget is
adaequate, the Euro is flying high though. And watch your weight!
Italians do not commonly speak English so a small dictionary is probably of
use...

In my last trip to Italy, it wasn't just the phone *sockets* that seemed
different, it was the whole phone system. I think it took me four tries to
get a pay phone to actually work Of course, my Italian is based mainly
on phrase books.

Yes, you have to remember to tear a small corner off the phonecard when you
want it to work. That is pretty unique here, probably meant to be an
indicator that the card was used. We have so many tricks to cheat the
tourists. Best bet is to get a "Lonely Planet" travel guide where everything
is explained (hopefully).
