WHy is a bridge rectifier labeled as CR? I always use BR on my designs. B as in bridge, R as in rectifier. Hey I'm a regular einstein, but how does CR relate to a doide? They could have used CR instead of X for CRystal. I think that would be better, so I use that in my designs. I don't conform to "standards" so I use positive ground as well.

I think Einstein would have spelled it "diode".

The reference designator for a crystal is "Y".
