I worked in microelectronics for a few years, but microe in my
country isnt doing well. If I intend to learn something in PCB
design, what are the subjects to take and what software package
should I use? I have two months to learn this new skill.

I was aware of OrCAD. Does PCB engineer mainly do schematic
capture, simulation, layout & routing? Where can I find some lectures
and tutorials?

Thanks.

Hi Frank,
Try some high-speed design or other courses specializing circuit
analysis and materials. It will be very useful to you in the market
place. As far as software I'd go with Mentor Design Capture and
Mentor's PADS for layout. Pretty simple to pick up.
