What resistor?

I am trying to operate a 2.3A/2.3A stepper motor from a 5V ucn5804b stepper
motor driver circuit. What would the value of the resistor on the motor
commons to keep the IC from going toast? Any help is appreciated.

The thing won't work, but it will stop toast.
