What is the difference

1. A shop w/ the proper equipment, manuals and "real" technicians.
2. A "shit" shop.
3. A "cherry picking" shop.
4. A "Warranty" only shop.
5. A shop connected with a retail store.

And what percentage of shops are in what category.

Is missing some/all the above.

3. A "cherry picking" shop.
Chooses jobs which will be profitable (IE those that will not break

even or los mone when they could be doing jobs that DO make money)

4. A "Warranty" only shop.

Only fixes things for manufacturers, and paid by the manufacturers.

5. A shop connected with a retail store.

Usually fits into #1 and #4.
