Hi,

When I use Silicon-Ensemble to place my cell, a filler cell is also
needed. Where can I find this filler cell?I am wondering what is the
structure of the filler cell. Can I make it by myself, if I cannot
find it in the library?

Thanks,

Lee,

The filler cells are used to fill the gaps created after the Qplace
is done. These cells will not have any devices, but will have the basic
things like power/ground rails, prBoundary and NWELL layer.

The filler cell is found in your lef file. For example, in ibm130 nm lef
file, it will be by name FILL8TR, FILL4TR and so on.

Just enter either one of these names depending upon your requireemnt in your
insert filler cells form.
