What does the "squareGrow" in Assura deck do??

Hi,

In Assura DRC file, there're some rules like:
r311a = drc( nwell width < 8.0 edge squareGrow=4.0 )
r312b = drc( nwella nwelld sep < 32.0 squareGrow = 16.0 )

and others... They use "squareGrow" keyword with half the value of
separation value..Is it always like that? And what's the need of using
it?

I didn't find it clear in manuals!

This is certainly quite clearly described in the Diva manuals if it's not in the
Assura manuals. Try taking a look there.
