I have a fuse made by Buss that is labled NON6. I know it is 6 amps, but can
somebody tell me what the NON stands for?
TIA
Roy

It seems you have Surface Mount fuse and NON stands for NON-TIME DELAY.

This fuse is definitely NOT a surface mount fuse. It is a cartridge type fuse
about 1/2 inch in diameter and about 2.5 inches long. I have worked with a lot
of fuses and still I do not know what it stands for. I even searched on Google
to no avail.

I think you are right ,they are making all kind of fuses , hope it helps.

According to http://www.bussmann.com/library/bifs/1030.PDF
NON= 250Vac, 125Vdc (0-100A), & NOS= 600Vac, "for general purpose
application".
