It's getting towards evening here in CA, so I am waiting to be told
what card game (the name starts with an "E") I choose and what hand
I drew.

Nope.

The last letter is "s", the middle letter is "u", and the first
letter is "E." Think Science.

You might have seen Rich The Philosophizer's other post. He hangs his head
in shame - it was all bravado.

I've retired him from posting, and he's back in obedience school. ;-)

And my first guess was "Euchre," which was wrong anyway.
