Web site for identifying parts by appearance?

Guest
Does anyone here know of a web site that can help identify components by
their appearance? Such as a set of pictures with identifying
information, organized by such things as number of terminals, general
shape, stripes or spots, and so on?

Thanks.

There's this:

For sorting the pictures, it might be easier with some of the online
component stores like RS Components or Mouser.

That is a common request on allabout circuits forum - you can attach a
picture and usually a few people will jump in with an identification.
