we need unauthorized policeman

I am sorry everyone but we need a few unauthorized policeman,

To keep this group tidy, maybe if some ISP's got a dozen complaints over
some people who make abusive postings to this group it might go away.

Someone had a go at me the other day, I just thought I am not going to lower
my standards and reply to them, otherwise they could make a complaint to my
ISP and I would be the only one that will lose out at the end of the day.

put the flea bags in your blocklist, AND include a rule to delete the
posting if the undesirables are mentioned in the posting, it should get rid
of some of the clutter

Nope. There are obvious ways to not read what you dont care to read.

Pigs might fly, too.

You can only lose out if you dont have a clue.

Hi Rod,
Happy New Year! Haven't seen you here for a long time. Then again,
I hardly ever read anything on this newsgroup now. Keep rattling those
cages!

Cheers,
Bob

I find the action on here lately a lot more preferable to floods of
spam that I have seen on other groups in the past

specially total crap items like dodgy nigerian money laundring scams
or penis enlargement pills

Gee, you never know who's going to pop up here! Happy New Years,
like about 30 of them to you too, David!
Send me an e-mail some time and I'll send you some photos of Chris
and Greg taken very recently. :)

Bob

I love the "would you like to remove all messages by this author" option
when you create a rule to block them.

Instant nirvana!

Thanks
