Wanted: Power supply for Panasonic vcr

I need a power supply for a Panasonic vcr. Sure, I can buy the rebuild kit from Studio Sound and rebuild it, but that takes time. In fact I've done that before a couple years ago. My eye site isn't as good as it used to be plus, I simply don't have the time or patience these days.

The power supply is held in buy 1 screw. Much easier than rebuilding, just replace it.
The one I need is VEPS01031. It is a common supply to many models. I have two vcr's, a PV4351 and a PV4361. Both could use new supplies. The PV4361 still works but has a high pitched squeal, most likely a bad cap. The other one just plane needs rebuilding. I know it is the supply's because I can swap them and the squealer will work in either vcr, but the other one has limited use in either one.

Anyway, I'm babbling. Where can I buy one or two of these? I've done a search and came up empty.
I know there are places that sell rebuilt ones, but don't know who or where they are. Do you?

Cheers.
Dan

Find a local repair shop to repair your VCR for you...... it will most
likely be cheaper and faster to have a shop do a component level repair than
to just buy a replacement power supply.

Well, money is an issue.

A kit to rebuild it myself is about $16. I bought a rebuilt one a couple years ago for $30 and my old one as exchange.

A shop is going to charge a lot more than $30 for sure.

I just don't know where I got the rebuilt one from.

Anyone know who rebuilds them?

It will end up easily costing you more for a replacement power supply module
that have a shop repair tech fix it for you by troubleshooting the SMPS at
component level.
