On page 388 of the newest JAYCAR 2004 catalogue is a lot of shocking
gadgets.

I thought it was illegal to give someone else a electrical shock, has
anybody considered making a complaint to the electrical powers?

Well thank he who probably doesn't exist for that. Back in the late
70s I zapped an old guy through his bald head with an impulse magneto.
For the full picture, I'm hanging onto the the HT lead, eager
assistant is ready to spin. The metal bench has has 8 ball victim
rummaging through a box of bolts. HT travels through me and exit my
finger, leaps into 8 balls head and he pulls his hands out of the box.
Thought something had bit him, he said. Did not feel it enter his head
apparently.
Remember a kid at school bought in a "Book of Nudes" now that was
shocking when the book was opened it made and broke contact several
times to the tranformer primary but I can't remember exactly how the
mechanical contact worked, probably a spring..dim dim memory.. too
long ago.

Last year I complained to the NZ regulatory authorities that they were
marketing a voltage stepdown transformer that was an autotransformer

Product number MF-1091

In NZ it is illegal to use an autotransformer for this sort of
application, don't know about Oz. Anyway I never heard back.

sometimes I think EWRB don't give too shits
