hi all,

Assuming I have 3 variable reluctance sensors monitoring teeth on a wheel
and I'm not using 2 of them, but they all share an -ve lead, will I have
crosstalk issues a) In a perfect world with the earth properly grounded b)
if I have a fault with an earth somewhere.

Cheers

Most VR sensors are balanced and they would not be interconnected.

In many ways this is a try it and see situation...

PeterD mumbled incoherently to the rest of alt.electronics:

These are built-in sensors on a distributor but I think its going to be
worth a try when i can figure out how to get it apart!
