Viva error

Hello,

I am only the administrator who install cadence and maintain the
system and user environment. The users are complaining to me about a
viva error, copied below.

Does anyone know what is this about? I can do some testing if

I was about to ask whether you had followed the advice of the error message -
and when I searched I see that you have - SR 42012916. I'll leave customer
support to continue following up on this.

ViVA (the waveform tool) is implemented as a separate process for parts of the
tool (e.g. the graph), and so it requires the main virtuoso session to be able
to communicate with it. Obviously some problem is occurring with the
communication channel - which is what the error is saying.
