Hello,

All patients that died from Corona had a Vitamine K shortage.

Here is a little poll among you guys:

How many of you knew the importance of Vitamine K to survive corona ?

If the poll turns out that many didn\'t know then I will spread this information around in other newsgroups.

Otherwise why bother ! ;) :)

So far I will post to comp.arch and comp.lang.c as well :)

Bye,
Skybuck =D

Seems unlikely? Where is your evidence?

Blood clots are a complication in late stage Covid-19 pneumonia. Wafarin is the usual anti-clotting medicine, and it works by inducing a vitamin-K shortage.

It could be that what you are saying is that if you get sick enough from Covid-19 to be likely to die, part of the treatment might be to give you a Vitamin-K shortage.

You are silly enough to have got the facts backwards.

Here\'s another poll - how many of us haven\'t worked out that Skybuck Flying can be relied to post total nonsense?

I doubt if they would be grateful for your contribution.

Your body should be able to make vitamin K. If not it is your body. Your body makes the vitamins if it works right. Just not C, and I think E. You get D from the sunshine.

I will believe what you say, but what is the reason then ? Didn\'t they eat enough chicken gizzards or some shit ?

Please use google before posting and research it.

It\'s all over the web by now !

This was discovered by a dutch hospital or university or something like that.

The medicine you describe sounds very dangerous and might actually make the patient worse !

Also the medicine you describe makes no sense, it\'s well known that vitamine K is good for blood stolling. This might be a good thing since the virus is eating into cells ripping it apart changing it, perhaps vitamine K closes off cells better to prevent the virus from ripping it apart.

Bye,
Skybuck.

People might not eat diverse enough and have a shortage of vitamine k.

Thus change diet.

There is a lot of virus, so perhaps there is a lot of vitamine k necessary as well, like ammunition.

I didn\'t have to. I was on Wafarin for few years in the Netherlands
It\'s all over the web by now !

That doesn\'t make it true or correct, and it doesn\'t mean what you seem to want it to mean.

> This was discovered by a dutch hospital or university or something like that.

But you can\'t provide a link to the \"discovery\"

https://www.theguardian.com/science/2020/jun/05/vitamin-k-could-help-fight-coronavirus-study-suggests

> The medicine you describe sounds very dangerous and might actually make the patient worse !

It\'s actually explicitly mentioned in the Guardian article.

\"he would encourage a healthy intake of vitamin K, except to those on blood-thinning medications such as warfarin.\"

Oddly enough, the Canisius Wilhelmina hospital in the Dutch city of Nijmegen was my local hospital when I lived there. I got my aortic valve replaced at the university hospital, but convalesced at the CWH.

> Also the medicine you describe makes no sense, it\'s well known that vitamine K is good for blood stolling.

\"Stolling\" is the Dutch word for blood clotting. One of the problems with end-stage pneumonia in Covid-19 cases is lots of little blood clots in the the lungs, and an anti-coagulant would protect against that.

> This might be a good thing since the virus is eating into cells ripping it apart changing it, perhaps vitamin K closes off cells better to prevent the virus from ripping it apart.

Why would you think that? Admittedly you are an idiot and do have a lot of stupid ideas, but that one seems to be even sillier than usual.

Always possible.

Probably not worth the trouble, unless you know that you have specific deficiency.

> There is a lot of virus, so perhaps there is a lot of vitamin k necessary as well, like ammunition.

It\'s more likely that a healthy diet has other beneficial effects.

Single issue clowns are prone to fixate on particular vitamins - it makes for a simpler message, albeit mostly not a useful one.

Bye,
Skybuck.

There are a dozen different types of anti-coagulent mechanisms and the
newer types were designed not to interfere with the healthy levels of
Vit. K.

Xarelto(rivaroxaban) is also about 50 times more expensive than
off-patent types like Warfarin which is cheap. (in Canada at least). But
my insurance pays most of it.
