From schematic, the layout team has drawn the layout based on Pcell with
using Virtuoso XL links.

How can I create the XL link from layout to/from schematic ?
I prefer to use skill as I have several schematic to deal with.

Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand your question.

If you have a layout which implements a schematic but which doesn't respect
the naming convention expected by VXL, I think the best is to use a 6.1
version as starting with this version the initialisation of the binding is
made by taking into account the connectivity. If VLS-XL doesn't then
choose what is correct, you have the Define Device Correspondance form to
modify it (and if it is possible, open a case with customer support).

There is also a skill API to do what the form do as well, but I don't
remember if it was introduced in 6.1.1 or in 6.1.2 (in which case you'll
have to wait till it is available).

Unfortunatly, I used IC5141-USR4.
You are right Pcell name and schematic instance name are different.
However, they use the same master from the PDK.
Is there a skill command to link the layout instance /M1 to the schematic
instance /M2 , assuming they share the same master ?

Merci.

In 5.1.41, no. There is an interactive command which will do it, but it
renames as a side effect.

It could be better for you just to rename all the instances.
