Hello all...
I bought a Viewsonic A90F+ monitor a while ago after my NEC MultiSync 95
"died". That monitor has since been repaired, but I needed something else in
a hurry. I've had it for about two months now and everything seems great
about it...but it won't stop smelling "new". The smell is always around the
monitor, but seems to get worse when it warms up and air starts convecting
through the case. More than anything else it gets on my nerves after a
lengthy session at the computer.
I don't think there is anything wrong with the monitor besides this smell,
but I'd love to know if anything could be done about it. So far I have only
tried mouting a small fan on top, which hasn't helped. Thanks in advance for
any help!
